Lawn Fawn Cover Plate

I saw this cover plate at our LSS and thought - awww, so pretty, wonder if is "fiddly"?  Well yes, it is pretty and yes, it is fiddly.  I'm not sure if it was easier to do the inlay or just attach to the paper. I tried to adhere with microdots on one and the other with glue. Both posed their individual problems.

I loved how both turned out, but I have to admit, I don't know how many times I will use it - at least as a cover plate.
