Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

Grumpy Birthday

Not sure about you guys, but I'm in love with Grumpy and his snarky gab. All 3 are birthday card using various balloon dies and stamps. I used all backgrounds from my stash, so it was pretty quick putting this together.

Friday Four - Pic heavy

Apparently I have some technical difficulties this week. I have a watercolor included in what you have already seen. Sorry about that.

Watercolor

I used stamps from Tim Holtz and the Art Impressions style for the water color above. I kept everything simple using only 2 greens, a light brown for the jar and a little darker brown for the string around the jar.

Birthday Card

This is a somewhat Over the Hill card as the inside reads - the more birthdays you have, the more you want to gag.  I used a watercolor card from Taylored Expressions, blended on Oxide Inks and stamped the cat twice, once directly on the paper and one that I fussy cut and colored with copics.

Birthday Card

Another slimline card but using Tim Holtz's dogs on this one . I colored the dogs with copic and used distress oxides for the top of the card. I computer generated the sentiment and the inside says "Happy Birthday!".

Christmas Cards

This is a set by Tim Holtz - looks like his stuff, huh? I did a Jennifer McGuire and added ears to turn it into a dog. Colored with copics and used the Christmas greenery set from Sizzix (Tim Holtz) for the boughs across the top.

Last Christmas Card for the week

I used one of Tim Holtz's cats - too stinkin' cute, colored with copics. I added stickles to his Santa hat and then kinda set it aside. I really wasn't sure which way I was going or what I was going with it. After a couple of weeks of restacking stacking it in the pile (bet you all have one too), I ink blended a piece of white cardstock, laid my cat on it and set aside (again). A few days go by and inspiration hits when I run across this paw stencil. I decided to use it with some glitter paste. I popped the cat up, added the sentiment and said "I'm done". Still am only so so with it, but maybe more inspiration will hit the nect time.

Snarky Birthday

I love Taylored Expressions Grumplings. The messages can be changed for the occasion. I did add balloons and a birthday hat from one of Tim Holtz's set.

The sentiment says "CONGRATS You annoy me less than most people"

Panda Fun

A new set I picked up at Hobby Lobby and colored with copics. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz/Ranger and the inside says: Create a little PANDA-monium! These little guys sure look like they could too! LOL

Wedding card

A super simple wedding card. I die cut 2 hearts and glued/taped behind the base. I stamped the sentiments using a Ranger stamp set. It is supposed to read: Cheers to the Bride and Groom. I added some opal like stones to the front.

Birthday Card

I made this for my son's partner (my daughter-in-law). She loves all the "fru fru" drinks as I call them, so I tried to give the various cocktails lots of color. I used a Tim Holtz stamp on the front. The streamer background is a die from Taylored Expressions. The drinks are from My Next Stamp, colored with copics.

Tim Holtz Watercolor

A watercolor using a stamp set from Tim Holtz. I wasn't as pleased with how this one turned out, but I tell myself, hang in there and keep trying.....
