Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

Wedding Card

A beautiful bride digi from Saturated Canary, colored with copics. I used Sizzix dies for the matting and some patterned paper I had in my stash. I added some pearls to her hair for just a little bit of bling.

Another birthday card - this time for your hairdresser. The digi is from Saturated Canary, colored with copics. I used an old rubber stamp for the "Happy Birthday and then glued paper sequins all around.

Thank you card

I LOVE this Saturated Canary digi!! I think it could be used for Halloween as well. I stayed with basic colors and that worked out well too. As usual, I colored with copics. I die cut the "Thanks", but I don't remember where I got the die or even who makes it.

Anniversary Card

I LOVED this digi the moment I saw it! Krista does such beautiful work. I colored with copics and placed my image on the inside of the card instead of the outside this time and I kinda like it!

Birthday Card

I used a Saturated Canary digi for my 1st try at African American skin. I was rather happy, although it could be a shade lighter. I used a Spellbinders die for the image and mat and a punch for the balloons.

Hassie's Birthday Card

I told you a few weeks ago that our DD turned 27 this year and this was the card I made for her. I used a different pop up that the jury is still out on... The digi is from Saturated Canary and is PERFECT for her. I colored with copics. The sentiment on the front of the card is a rtubber stamp that I have.

Thank You card

Another digi from Saturated Canary. I have always loved when her girls have curly hair. I colored with copics and then used a Spellbinders die that I threaded ribbon through the bottom.

Love card

I love the play on words for this card. I had purchased the digi some time back and later saw something similar to this sentiment and thought - how great it would be.....
Isn't it funny when we see something and it just all come together!
The digi is from Saturated Canary and colored with copics.

Thinking of You

I thought this was/is a great digi from Saturated Canary. I purchased it some time back and just now getting around to coloring it. I kept the card simple because I wanted the digi to take center stage.  Colored with copics and really was happy with how it turned out.

I actually don't remember purchasing this digi, but I obviously did. It's a Saturated Canary digi and she's just precious. Colored with copics, I cut the image and mat with Spellbinders Dies and added some ribbon I had on hand.

Saturated Canary Birthday Card

Who wouldn't love this card (other than a man)? I love the colors although when I'm mixing, I'm not always sure some will work together, but these did. Colored with copics and added a piece of ribbon to one end for extra pop.

Fall Card

What a great digi from Saturated Canary! I purchased this one last year and never got around to using it, but it was one of the 1st fall I worked on this year. Colored with copics, matted on some paper from my stash and added a couple of wood leaves for an extra touch.

Happy Labor Day

While this isn't a Labor Day Card, the colors remind me of summer and Labor Day represents the end of summer. This is a Saturated Canary digi and I love the verse and stamp. I did change the wording a bit for a birthday card, but it still gives the same sentiment. Colors with copics, I added ribbon to bring some punch  the layout on the front.

Thinking of You Card

This beautiful Saturated Canary digi could be used for a birthday card, a thank you card, but today I used it as a thinking of you card. I colored with copics and coordinated to the background paper which is from my stash of 6 X 6 paper pads. I added some bakers twine for a little extra touch.

Off to College

I have to say this is one of my favorite cards I've made in a long time. My daughter went off to college about 7 years ago and I would loved to have given her this - tucked away in her stuff so that she found it after she got there. Oh, the memories of that time....

Anyway, the digi is from Saturated Canary and colored with copics. I computer generated the sentiments for the inside and outside. I hope Mom or Dad gives this to their daughter and the daughter loves it!

Mother's Day

A lovely digi from Saturated Canary. I saw this one and fell in love with it! I wasn't sure what I was going to use it for, but Mother's Day works and I'm sure I will come up with other uses too. Colored with copics and added some crinkle ribbon. I thought it was beautiful!
