Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

Girly Birthday Card

What a girly card! I got this idea from a magazine. I used several different carts for this card and the only one I can actually remember is Street Sign for the "Step" - I think I used Forever Young for the purse and boots and I'm not sure about the hills. I'm still old school and use my Gyspy and and then just set it to cut all at one time.

Have a creative week!

Valentine

I used Forever Young (Cricut Cart) for the glasses and Cricut's George for the heart. The sentiment is computer generated and I actually picked the button color and then picked the blue cardstock. I wanted to make sure I could match and have the extra splash of color.

TFL and have a great Tuesday!

Birthday Card

My Mom asked me to make a card for their Pastor's wife and she said, just something simple and pretty. She said she was a young 60ish, but very stylish. Here's what developed. You can use any shoe and purse, I think I used the shoe from the Wedding cart and the purse from Forever Young - to bad my memory isn't so good, but you can used any from the Cricut carts. I think the sentiment says it all, so have fun making a card like this or maybe it will inspire you to "one up me"!

Happy Thursday and TFL

Retirement Card

What a fun sentiment! I made this card with the Forever Young Cart and the Tim Holtz/Sizzix clock. It went together fast and I loved the results.

Thanks for stopping by!

50 and Fabulous

Another simple card, that must be my theme for the week, for that wonderful 50 year old. Sometimes, we don't want to give an over the hill card - but we want our friends/family to know that 50 is great! I can say that, because I'm 47, but I feel sure I'll make it through 50. I used some new spellbinders dies for the mat's on this card. Love how they cut and look, and it's soooooo fast to run them through my Big Shot. I used Forever Young for the gal and the paper is Stampin' Up. Have a great Thursday and check in tomorrow. TFL

My Daughter's Birthday Card

Today is my daughter's 23rd birthday and this is the card I made for her. I used Cricut's Forever Young and the Imagine cart Heirloom. Added some beautiful lace and pearls. I don't normally make cards that are more of the "vintage" style, but I loved the way it turned out! We're having a family cookout for her tonight, so I have a busy day ahead. I hope you have a great Wednesday and come by again soon! TFL

Another Valentine's Card

For the wife that loves animal prints - The base card was made in Design Studio (not my creation) and the lady and dress are from Forever Young. Put a lovely sentiment inside or a riqsue one and you're done! Have a great Tuesday and stop by again soon!

Friends Card

From Cricut's Forever Young. This cart is so much fun! It's like playing with paper dolls (if you're old enough to remember that) LOL. I love being able to pick my dresses, colors and being able to bling it up if that's my mood for the day. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by and looking.

Thank You

...for your support! I have made some cards with this same sentiment before, but haven't used this bra. It is from Cricut's Forever Young. I stamped the sentiment and used the MS Lace punch for the border paper. If your are a Cricut user and don't already know, check out this website: www.cricutsearch.com - Let me tell you, it really makes life easier!! It is also an enabler for the carts that you might like to have. I have found cuts that I didn't even know were on carts I have. TFL

Fun Birthday Card

The inside of the card reads: Welcome to the world of Bi-focal Babes. It is computer generated to look like and eye chart. I meant to take a pic of it and just messed up and forgot too, so you'll have to use your imagination. The glasses are cut from Cricut's Forever Young. Hope everyone has a great Monday and as always, TFL and come by again soon!

Friend Card

A very simple, but elegant card made with Cricut's Forever Young cart. I love polka dots and black and white always seem so elegant to me. TFL

Belated Birthday Card

I have been using Cricut's Forever Young and having a blast with it! I tried to make this one a little retro. I also used a Sizzix Embossing Folder for the background. I was really happy with how this turned out. BTW the inside sentiment says:  I was just fashionably late!

Anniversary Card

I used 2 different techniques for this card. The 1st using an MS heart punch and then the Cricut Forever Young cart. I added a sentiment from a rubber stamp I've had for ages and just added Happy Anniversary on the inside. Have a Great Monday!!!

Birthday Card

This is made with the Cricut Card Forever Young. I have really enjoyed making these stairstep cards. I love this sentiment, because it's so fitting for a 40+, we feel old and this just perks up our spirits. Have a great Sunday and as always, thanks for looking!

Forever Young

I have made a few cards from the Forever Young Cart from Cricut. The ideas for clothing are limitless. This one was just simple as I wanted a warm palette. I embossed the background and added stickles to her shirt and the bottom of her pants. Have a Great Thursday!!
