Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

New Stamp and die from SSS

I LOVED this when SSS came out with this about 4-6 weeks ago. I've made several already, but these are 2 of my favorite. One is a shaker card. Both were done using copics and alcohol. I love the look of watercolor, but always struggle getting the desired results, soooo I thought, let's try it this way. I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder and then lightly colored with copics and just started blending with alcohol. I think I used a q-tip, actually several, but I'm sure you could use a brush or whatever you are comfortable with. One important note: YOU MUST USE ALCOHOL THAT IS 91% OR ABOVE. You could use the copic blending solution, but it is certainly more pricey than just alcohol. Give it try- you might enjoy doing it this way.
