I saw this idea in a magazine and made my version. I used a stamp I have had for some years. I just started looking for buttons in bright colors; I really didn't have a lot of trouble finding them, because I'm a sucker for buying buttons (especially if it appears to be a good deal). Once I got my colored buttons together I laid them out before I glued them down.
