Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

Birthday Card

Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is having a good week and you if live on the East Coast, I hope you're taking care and making it through not only the hurricane that's heading your way, but the earthquake, if you're in an area that was hit.
If you watch the news and keep up with sports, then you know about Pat Summitt, Head Coach for the Lady Vols; She has been diagnosed with the early onset of Dementia/Alzheimer's at only 59 years old. Of course, living in Knoxville and being from this area, it is devastating news. It was on the national news last night and her son Tyler was saying that his Mom was already working hard to slow down the progression and that she would fight this disease. She is one of the most inspiring ladies and has that never give up spirit. She has written a book called "Reach for the Stars" and if you haven't read it, then you might want to give it a go.
My reason for passing this along.... Sometimes I need to be reminded that life is a struggle for all of us - just at different times in our lives and we should choose to face them with a positive attitude.
On to the card... I had to make a really quick card for a man and I just used balloons from Birthday Bash. It was the 1st time I had used them, but they really made a nice card and super quick too!
