Welcome to my world of cards. This is my journey of joy using mainly Cricut and Copics. You will see some different techniques from time to time and I hope you find some ideas that give you inspiration. Everything that I post is meant to be shared and if you wish to "scraplift", I'm happy to share. Have fun while you're are!
2019 Update: Follow me into a new world of weaving and various of types of fiber art. I will continue to make cards, my original love, but also branching out.

It's Christmas in the City Invitations

I believe this is the 4th year I've made Christmas Invitations for the couple that ordered these. Each year, they have a theme and this year it's Christmas in the City. I used Cricut Design Studio for the skyline because I had to add an element to the City Skyline that was on the Plantin Schoolbook Skyline. I used the Christmas Solutions cart for the Santa and Reindeer as well as the Lamp Post. They really wanted a vintage Santa and Reindeer for the other element, but I just couldn't find a stamp that would work at an image from any of the carts that seem "right". The snowflakes are the negative cuts from the MS punch around border snowflake punch. Now, the real kicker, THIS IS ALL CUT FROM VINYL. After ruining 2 12 X 12 black sheets of paper trying to cut the Santa at 1 1/2", I swapped to vinyl and it worked!I was really proud of these after they were done and the couple that ordered them were happy! Have a Happy Sunday!
